Today we spent Labor Day with the other guests and volunteers at the Cincinnati Ronald McDonald House. This Ronald McDonald House is not just beautiful inside and out, the volunteers are amazing. We’ve felt at home during our stay. We also had the opportunity to witness some incredible community outreach in Cincinnati. Med students from the University of Cincinnati brought in games and played with the children, O’Neals face and body painting did amazing artwork for the children, and The Koala Times (www.thekoalatimes.com) made Grace Anna’s day as well as the other children. These people donate their time to bring joy to sick children and children with special needs. That is near and dear to our hearts, just amazing. Please check them all out. … See MoreSee Less
Before my daughter passed in 2008, we stayed several times at different Ronald McDonald Houses. The staff always made you feel welcome. They were very understanding when I stayed there alone while My daughter was at UNC Chapel Hill. When she passed they offered any services they may have had.
I was so happy to make a new friend last night while watching the fireworks! Grace–you have a great personality and I loved your laugh–especially when you laughed at my last name!!! I hope I get to see you again someday!!!
I haven’t seen her posts on my Facebook lately even though I’m following her?
We recently spent time at the Ronald McDonald House in Columbus when my 4 mi th old grandson had opened heart surgery. Its a place very dear to our hearts. The people there are amazingan snake you feel so welcome and at home. ❤️
Ronald McDonald house is awesome! Wish every hospital had one near them. The families with little ones in hospital sure could use a place to stay that didn’t charge them or charged very little.
Oh yes, My daughter and grandson spent almost 3 years off and on in the McDonald house. He had to have 3 open heart surgries and last giving him a new heart. I pray for the family that lost a loved one that saved my Grandson. I knew God had it, yet it si hard seeing babies live with tubes. I love that you gave me recodition. God bless your family and Grace Anna.
